PAR 5, YARDS 475, STROKE INDEX 15

Overview

Hole 5, is the first of Holywood's two par 5's at 475 yards. A dog leg left hole that poses certain challenges off the tee, out of bounds hugging the left tree line and fairway bunkers placed at the corner of the fairway. For longer hitters a great birdie opportunity, however a long narrow green requires an accurate approach shot.

“Aim for the right side of the fairway off the tee, allowing for a easier lay up or approach shot. Long hitters can attempt to cut the corner out and drive the ball over the left side trees, this will provide a shorter approach shot.”
